Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini, titled last month in FIA GT following the Zolder races, could see their reward pass under their noses. The drivers of the No. 12 Maserati MC1 of the Vitaphone team (GT1) were penalized, due to too many mechanics, 30 seconds after the Zolder race. But this judgment was not satisfactory for Pekaracing, which was also competing for the title with Anthony Kumpen and Mike Hezemans, the Belgian team filed an appeal which will be judged by the FIA Court of Appeal on Wednesday, November 25. The decision will be made the next day, a decision which could change the outcome of the championship.
