The competitors in the FIA ​​GT1 world championship will meet this weekend on the Spanish circuit of Navarra, to compete in the penultimate round of the season. Extremely rare, the two races, qualifying and championship, will be contested tomorrow, with today being reserved for free practice and qualifying.

Thanks to a time of 1:36:118, the Reiter Engineering Lamborghini of Ricardo Zonta and Franck Kechele, victorious at Spa, will start from the first position on the starting grid tomorrow morning for the qualifying race. The beautiful Italian will have at her side the Maserati MC12 Triple H of the duo Alessandro Pier Guidi-Nico Verdonck, while the third best time was set by the Ford GT Matech of the Swiss Neel Jani and the Frenchman Nicolas Armindo.

Championship leaders Andrea Bertolini and Michael Bartels (No. 12 Maserati MC1 Vitaphone) are 13th, two places behind the Ford GT Matech that Richard Westbrook shares with Thomas Mutsch, second in the provisional general classification.
