The FIA GT1, which is entering a new era having recently obtained the FIA world championship label, will adopt the same points system as the other FIA world championships which are the Formula 1, WRC and the WTCC.
Bonus for victory therefore, with a crew winning the Sunday race pocketing a whopping 25 points, the Saturday race just serving to determine the starting grid for the next day. But the first three in this qualifying round will still be rewarded, obtaining respectively 8, 6 and 4 more units on their counter. Note that the FIA GT3 also adopts the same countdown.
The new scale is now as follows:

2. 18 points
3. 15 points
4. 12 points
5. 10 points
6. 8 points
7. 6 points
8. 4 points
9. 2 points
10. 1 point
