Confirming their domination since the start of the weekend, Darren Turner and Tomas Enge won the championship race at the German meeting of the FIA GT1 world championship.
On the Nürburgring circuit, the crew of theAston Martin DB9 Young Driver n°7 finished ahead of the Lamborghini Murcielago Reiter of Christopher Haase and Peter Kox and the Corvette Z06 Phoenix Carsport of the Marc Hennerici-Alex Margaritis duo.
Fifth at the wheel of the No. 12 Maserati MC1 Vitaphone, Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini increased their lead in the provisional general classification, with Thomas Mutsch finishing outside the top 10.
Note the good performance of the Hexis AMR team, the No. 10 Aston Martin of Piccione-Hirschi finishing just off the podium.
