This week, on the Portuguese circuit of Portimao, Frédéric Makowiecki and Marc Hennerici were able to take the wheel of the Marc VDS Racing Ford GT for the first time, which they will drive this season in the FIA GT1 world championship. Bas Leinders and Maxime Martin were also there. Unfortunately, the Belgian team had to deal with numerous showers.
?Despite the difficult weather conditions, I am very happy with these tests because it was very important for me to test the car at least before the first race next month, Mako concedes. I only managed to complete ten laps during the brief session we had in the dry but I worked a lot in the wet and my feeling with the car in both cases was good. Now I can't wait to get to the first race in Abu Dhabi and, after working with the team here in Portimao, I'm excited to get going. »
