Australian driver Garry Jacobson's contract with the PremiAir Racing team in the Supercars championship ended on June 21.

Garry Jacobson will no longer ride for PremiAir Racing

Just two days after the Supercars round in Darwin, Garry Jacobson saw his contract with PremiAir Racing come to an end. The Australian driver who joined the team last season will no longer ride with it. This announcement comes after Garry Jacobson's difficult races on the Darwin circuit which caused various racing incidents. 

« PremiAir Racing would like to confirm that Garry Jacobson and PremiAir racing have parted ways immediately. Jacobson's contract officially ended this afternoon (June 21, 2022) and PremiAir Racing is considering its options regarding a replacement for the PremiAir Subway Supercar. Announcements regarding the new driver for #76 will be made as soon as possible. PremiAir Racing will make no further comments regarding Garry's departure and wish him good luck for his future endeavors “, details the stable in the press release
