This season, the ex-pilot Renault F1 team is enjoying the glory days of the FIA GT1 world championship. Winner of two out of three events, the Frenchman occupies the head of the rankings alongside his German teammate Thomas Mutsch. In a little over two weeks he will tackle, at the wheel of his Ford GT from the Swiss team Matech Compétition, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. But Grosjean has not, however, forgotten its main objective: to find a seat in Formula 1.
“I am thinking of the LMPs and the car, the 24-year-old told Autosport. I have an open mind. The number one option is to find a seat in F1.
