GT1: Bernoldi and Maserati on pole

The Interlagos circuit hosts the penultimate round of the FIA ​​GT1 world championship this weekend. And it is a 100% Brazilian crew which will start from pole at home. At the wheel of the Maserati MC12 Vitaphone n°2, the former driver of F1 Enrique Bernoldi set the fastest qualifying time, setting his fastest lap in 1:32:060.

The Italian car is ahead of the All-Inkl.com Lamborghini of Dominik Schwager-Nicky Pastorelli, the Phoenix Racing Corvette Z06 entrusted to Marc Hennerici and Alexander Margaritis and the Ford GT Matech Compétition that Richard Westbrook shares with Thomas Mutsch. Second in the championship, the latter performed well, with leaders Andrea Bertolini and Michael Bartels only setting the 19th fastest time.
