Laurens Vanthoor and Stéphane Ortelli took victory in the qualifying race at Nogaro with the No. 8 Audi R32 LMS. Team WRT achieved the double with second place for Oliver Jarvis and Frank Stippler, who quickly got rid of the No. 24 Lamborghini of Albert von Thurn und Taxis despite the splendid start of Tomas Enge. The German was still able to resist the return of the McLaren MP-12C of Grégoire Demoustier which is ahead of the Ferrari 458 of Toni Vilander and Filip Salaquarda started on pole.
