After dominating the first free practice session in Moscow, AF Corse is still at the forefront with the F458 Italia of Toni Vilander and Filip Salaquarda holding the best time of the session in 1'33"578. Yelmer Buurman and Michael Bartels place the BMW Z4 of the Vita4One Racing Team less than two tenths of the reference time. Franck Stippler and Oliver Jarvis finished third with the Team WRT Audi R8 while the top five was completed by the McLaren MP4-12C Hexis Racing of Frédéric Makowiecki and Stef Dusseldorp and the Mercedes SLS AMG All-Inkl.com by Marcus Winkelhock and Marc Basseng.
