Stéphane Sarrazin, who joined Frédéric Makowiecki in the GT1 World Championship this weekend, knows his position on the starting grid for the qualifying race in Brno. The Sarrazin-Makowiecki crew, on theAston Martin No. 9 obtained the ninth time in Q2, the second phase of the qualifying session, while only eight cars can advance to Q3. Romain Grosjean, who teams up with Thomas Mutsch, also got stuck in Q2. The crew of the No. 5 Ford GT Matech set the tenth time in Q2.
