The start of the Championship race in San Luis redistributed the cards for the Teams Championship. If victory went to Francesco Pastorelli and Yelmer Buurman, winners of the qualifying race, it was the French team Hexis AMR which won the Teams title, taking advantage of the drive-throughs of the No. 22 Nissan driven by Richard Westbrook and Peter Dumbreck and the No. 9 DB7 of Tomas Enge and Alex Müller to grab the points for 3rd and 5th place without the rival teams scoring any points.
