On the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the championship race was won by Ricardo Zonta and Franck Kechele. Aboard their Reiter Engineering Lamborghini Murcielago, they beat the Maserati MC 12 Triple H of Alex Müller and Altfrid Heger and the Ford GT Matech Compétition of Thomas Mutsch and Richard Westbrook. On the other Matech team car, Romain Grosjean, associated with Neel Jani, finished fourteenth.
