The fourth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship takes place this weekend at the Sachsenring circuit. This morning, the first free practice session saw the Ford GTs of the Marc VDS Racing Team shine. The No. 41 of Belgian Maxime Martin and Frenchman Frédéric Makowiecki set the best time of the session by completing a lap of the German track in 1:19:846, and preceded the sister car of the Marc Hennerici-Bas Leinders duo. . The Exim Bank Team China Corvette Z06 of Mike Hezemans and Nick Catsburg is third on the timesheet.
