The first free practice session of the second round of the FIA GT1 world championship, which takes place this weekend on the Belgian circuit of Zolder, saw the No. 41 Ford GT of Frédéric Makowiecki and Maxime Martin set the best time . Thanks to a lap completed in 1:29:631, the Franco-Belgian duo is ahead of theAston Martin DB9 Young Driver n°8 of the Turner-Mücke pair and the Nissan Sumo Power GT of Ricardo Zonta and Enrique Bernoldi.
The Hexis AMR Aston Martin DB9s are 5th and 6th respectively, the winners from Abu Dhabi (Dusseldorp-Piccione) ahead of their teammates (Hohenadel-Piccini).
