The #4 Vita4One Racing Team BMW Z18 of Michael Bartels and Yelmer Buurman won the qualifying race for the second Slovak meeting of the FIA GT1 World Championship season. Starting in pole position, the championship leaders won for the third time this year. The celebration is total for BMW since the propeller firm signs the double thanks to the second place of the Mathias Lauda-Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof pair. There Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of Mark Basseng and Markus Winkelhock finished on the third step of the podium.
