The Vita4One Racing Team once again dominated proceedings at the Slovakia Ring for the sixth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship season. Like yesterday, the #4 BMW Z18 of Michael Bartels and Yelmer Buurman won. The two men thus take off in the championship with 121 points on the clock compared to 105 for Marc Basseng and Marcus Winkelhock (All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport), second in this championship race in Slovakia. Vita4One seemed headed for another double but the BMW Z4 of Mathias Lauda and Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof was robbed of its second place by the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 n°38 at the start of the last lap.
