This is what we call an early end of collaboration. Only a year after the start of their shared adventure, Jake Kostecki and Tickford Racing have confirmed they will not continue together in 2023.

« Tickford Racing and driver Jake Kostecki have decided to part ways by mutual agreement and will not continue their partnership in the 2023 season,” we can read in the press release. It must be recognized that the season for the Perth native at the wheel of the No. 56 Ford Mustang was not easy. Apart from three small Top 10s, the Australian often made mistakes, even ending the year with an accident in Adelaide, thus paying a high price.

« I left Tickford before the 2023 season which means I find myself behind the wheel full time, he wrote on his social networks. While I was impatiently awaiting the new era of Supercars, I tell myself that it will not be for any time soon. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows in real life. I have to find what is best for me and for the future."
