Junior Johnson has died

Member of the Hall of Fame Nascar, winner 50 times in the premier division (including a victory at the Daytona 500 in 1960), but without ever having been titled, Robert Glen “Junior” Johnson died at the age of 88.

Johnson had also pocketed two other victories at Daytona as owner in 1969 and 1977 with LeeRoy Yarbrough and Cale Yarborough. The entire AUTOhebdo editorial team sends its most sincere condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Junior Johnson.
