The Belgian Marc VDS Racing Team will enter a Ford GT developed by Matech for Bas Leinders and Renaud Kuppens in FIA GT.
“The car was developed in the spirit of the 2010 regulations,” explains Bas Leinders. “This first season with the new Ford GT1 will therefore be a preparation for 2010. This does not mean that we are only here to fill the grid but everything must be done to have a positive impact on our 2010 campaign.”
The first laps of the Marc VDS Racing Team's Ford GT are planned at Magny-Cours before the official FIA GT tests on April 6 and 7 at the Paul Richard HTTT.
Another Ford GT will be entered directly by Matech GT Racing.
