Les pilotes du Toyota Gazoo Racing by CMR a réalisé le meilleur temps de la première séance d’essais libres au Paul Ricard, lieu de la finale du FFSAGT thanks to a time of 1’32”082. He is four tenths ahead of another Silver crew, Benjamin Lariche and Robert Consani in theAlpine A110 from Speed Car.
Jim Pla places the Mercedes-AMG n°87 from AKKA-ASP in third position overall and in command of the Pro-Am category, less than five tenths behind. He finished just ahead of the Nicolas duo Cheers and Christopher Campbell in theAlpine of CMR.
But where are the championship leaders? In Silver, the duo Edouard Cauhaupé-Fabien Lavergne set the ninth time, seven tenths off the lead in the CD Sport Mercedes while their main rivals, Benjamin Lessennes and Ricardo Van der Ende ranked fourteenth, one second behind.
The worst off are Fabien Michal and Grégory Guilvert, undisputed leaders of the Pro-Am, who were only able to complete ten laps in one hour and finished in 24th place.
