McLaren something new for this 2023 season in the world of GT. If they are maintained as factory drivers, Rob Bell and Marvin Kirchhöfer are joined by Tom Gamble, who passed through LMP2 with United Autorsports in 2021. New representative of the Woking firm, the native of Epperston has already been able to try the 720S GT3 at the Asian Le Mans Series last February with the Garage 59 team.

But Tom Gamble is not the only new addition to McLaren's 2023 line-up. The British manufacturer has launched the “McLaren Junior Pro Driver” program with two entrants: Benjamin Goethe and Nicolai Kjærgaard. Finally, Aston Millar also joins the ranks of McLaren within the “McLaren Academy Driver”.

« I am delighted to welcome Tom, Benjamin, Nicolai and Aston to the McLaren family, says Ian Morgan, director of the Motorsport department at McLaren. Tom has proven himself to be a tremendous sports car and GT driver and will fit in well with Rob and Marvin in our factory driver team. Marvin has settled in well with a strong 2022 season and I'm glad we've been able to retain him for 2023. Rob's tenacity and experience has been invaluable in the development of our new cars like the Artura GT4 and the Artura Trophy (…) Benjamin, Nicolai and Aston are hopefuls and we can't wait to see how they progress until 2023."
