Monteiro repatriated to Portugal

Victim of an infection shortly before the first race of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) in Sochi (Russia), Tiago Monteiro (Honda) was hospitalized for five days to begin treatment.

The Portuguese was able to leave Russia on the evening of Wednesday December 1 to continue his treatment in a hospital near his home in Porto.

“After five days spent in the care of Russian hospital staff, to whom I am very grateful for taking care of me, I am returning to Portugal to continue my treatment, He explains.
