Mario Andretti has been named official of the Daytona 500 (Florida), the first event of the 2017 Monster Energy season Nascar Cup played on February 26. The world champion of F1 1978 with Lotus will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his victory in the “Great American Race” where he won in his Ford Fairlane. It will be his only success in the discipline in 14 starts.
