This afternoon, during pre-qualifying for the 24 Hours of Spa, it was a GT2 that achieved the best time of the session.
Indeed, it is the F430 n°2 AF Corse-ALD Team Vitaphone entrusted to Eric Van de Poele, Gianmaria Bruni, Bert Longin and Toni Vilander which appears at the top of the timesheet. The Italian beat the first BMW, that of three Dirk, Werner, Müller and Adorf.
La Porsche Imsa of the Lietz-Long-Pilet-Narac quartet completes the top three.
The first GT3, the No. 51 Audi Phoenix, is fourth. The Porsche BMS of Romain Dumas is 10th. Immobilized for a long time in front of its stand, the Mosler Gravity notably driven by Romain Grosjean, could not do better than 25th.
This evening the serious things begin. Qualifying begins at 19:30 p.m.
