Romain Dumas, by winning the 24 Hours of Spa this Sunday alongside Martin Ragginger, Wolf Henzler and Jorg Bergmeister, became the second driver in history to do the double, in the same year, 24 Hours of Le Mans – 24 Hours of Spa.

Before the Cévenol, the only driver to have achieved this feat was Luigi Chinetti, in 1949. The Italian had also managed to win at the wheel of the same car during the two double laps, a Ferrari 166 MM.

Romain Dumas therefore inscribes his name in the Pantheon of theEndurance, en remportant en 2010, les 24 Heures du Mans avec Audi et les 24 Heures de Spa avec Porsche.
