The Lexus RC F n°36 of the Petronas team Tom'S entrusted to James Rossiter and Kazuki Nakajima took pole position a few minutes ago for the Suzuka 1000 km, sixth round of the 2014 Super GT season. In Q2, the Japanese completed a lap in 1'48"633. He beat the No. 17 Keihin Real Racing Honda NSX-GT Concept at the wheel of which we find Koudai Tsukakoshi and Toshihiro Kaneishi, the top three being completed by the official No. 23 Nissan GT-R of the pair Tsugio Matsuda- Ronnie Quintarelli, equipped with Michelin tires.
Frenchman Frédéric Makowiecki and his Japanese sidekick Naoki Yamamoto (Honda NSX-GT Concept n°18 Dome Racing) will start tomorrow from seventh position.
