France has its first pilot in the new Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy electric championship. It is Celia Martin, test driver for Jaguar on the demanding Nordschleife circuit at the Nürburgring (Germany). “I am an ambitious person and I want to prove that as a beginner I am able to ride in the leading group”, indicates Célia Martin, who will not wear the colors of France but rather of the German team due to the various German sponsors.
Christian Danner, former pilot of Formula 1, will be responsible for the stable. The Frenchwoman will compete against Katherine Legge in particular, who will represent the United States when the season kicks off in Saudi Arabia with the Formula e the 15 December.
