Ford had the perfect weekend at Ipswich (Queensland) in V8 Supercars. After the double success of championship leader Mark Winterbottom yesterday, it was his Prodrive Racing Australia teammate Chaz Mostert who won the last race of the Australian weekend. Starting from pole position, Mostert, who recently extended his contract until 2019 with PRA, dominated the entire event, and won ahead of Craig Lowndes (Red Bull Racing Australia / Triple Eight – Holden) and Mark Winterbottom, who consolidates his lead at the top of the championship.
The next round of V8 Supercars will take place on the weekend of August 21-23, at Sydney Motorsport Park in Australia.
