Following on from his victory at Bathurst and his very good Surfers Paradise weekend (first then second. Editor's note), Jamie Whincup (Holden Commodore Team Vodafone / Triple Eight) outrageously dominates the start of the 14th V8 Supercars meeting in Abu Dhabi, with two victories in as many races.
The podium of the first two events held on the Yas Marina circuit was similar, since each time the Australian triumphed ahead of Will Davison (Ford Performance Racing) and Shane van Gisbergen (SP Tools Racing).
Frenchman Alexander Prémat (Holden Gary Rogers Motorsport) finished 20th and 25th respectively.
Tomorrow, third and final race of the antepenultimate round of the championship.
