2014 V8 Supercars champion Jamie Whincup (Red Bull Racing Australia – Holden) won the third and final race of the weekend at Pukekohe Park Raceway in New Zealand, his 94th career success. It's a double for the Red Bul Racing Australia team since Craig Lowndes, unlucky yesterday in race 2 after a puncture, finished second.
Scott Pye (DJR Team Penske – Ford) scores his first podium this season. Eleventh under the checkered flag after a spin in the opening moments of the race, Mark Winterbottom (PRA -Ford) remains 239 points ahead of David Reynolds (Rod Nash Racing – Ford), and 240 over Lowndes.
