Jamie Whincup and Paul Dumbrell (Triple Eight) took pole for the Sandown 500 in Victoria after winning qualifying and both qualifying races. Shane van Gisbergen and Jonathan Webb (Team Tekno VIP Petfoods) will start from the front row in front of the official Ford of Mark Winterbottom and Steve Owen. Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat (Valvoline Racing GRM) took fourth place.
