The Ford brand has announced its withdrawal from V8 Supercars as of the end of the 2015 season. The blue oval will be present on a limited basis with Ford Performance Racing, which notably fields Mark Winterbottom and DJR Team Penske, but will cease all commitment beyond. Ford also announced the end of production of production cars in Australia for 2016.
