Ayrton Simmons joins Charouz Racing System for his first full season in Formula 3. He will line up with László Tóth and Francesco Pizzi in the Czech team.

Ayrton Simmons at the start of his first F3 season

Ayrton Simmons will join the ranks of Charouz Racing System for the 2022 FIA campaign Formula 3 after making his debut there during the 2021 season. Present in Sochi (Russia) for the last round of the year, the native of Harlow (United Kingdom) completed the two races in 24th and 21st places. At the age of 20, he arrived in F3 after being vice-champion of GB3 behind Zak O'Sullivan. He was on the podium five times and won four races.

Having my first full season in FIA Formula 3 will be a demanding and exciting challenge for me, I can't wait to get back behind the wheel and immediately try to find a good feeling with the Dallara in order to get off to a good start from the first race in Bahrain."

The season will begin the weekend of March 18-20 in Bahrain.
