Trevor Carlin, the owner of the eponymous team, did not hide his satisfaction at seeing the driver again Red Bull in Formula Renault 3.5 Series within his team, after the Frenchman brilliantly won the Drivers' title in F3 UK. “It has been a pleasure working with Jean-Éric in F3 and I am delighted that he will join us in the World Series (by Renault) next year,” commented Trevor Carlin.
“He is without a doubt one of the most talented drivers we have had at Carlin,” added the owner of the British team. “We are really proud that the Red Bull Junior Team has chosen Carlin for Jean-Éric Vergne's career and we look forward to another successful season with him in 2011.”
