Albert Costa (Epsilon Euskadi) emerged winner of the Superpole in Eurocup FR 2.0. Only 10th in qualifying group B, the Catalan turned the situation around to his advantage by beating the Swiss Nico Müller (Jenzer) and the Frenchman Nathanaël Berthon (Epsilon Euskadi). Thanks to his second best time, Costa will also occupy pole for the second race ahead of the Englishman Quaife-Hobbs (Motopark) and Miki Monras (SG Formula). Best time in Group A in qualifying, Jean-Eric Vergne missed out in Superpole, with the 12th and 11th times.
