New team for Hunter Yeany in Formula 3. The American driver will join Carlin for the 2023 season. Aged 17, Hunter Yeany will experience his second campaign as starting driver next year. Arriving in Formula 3 at the end of the 2021 season with Charouz, the Virginia native then participated in the 2022 year with the Campos team. The 4 F2020 USA champion did not complete a full season since he suffered a wrist injury during the Austrian meeting. He then missed 7 races before returning for the last round, at Monza. He finished 33rd in the F3 championship with no points scored.

Back in great shape and the injury now behind him, Hunter Yeany will be able to concentrate on the 2023 season, during which he will join the Carlin team. The American has already become acquainted with his new team since he took part in the official F3 post-season tests in Jerez last September with the British structure.

Hunter Yeany is the first driver to be announced at Carlin for 2023. “I am very happy to announce that I will be racing with Carlin in Formula 3 next year. Carlin is the first team I tested with in Europe, so it’s a bit like coming home! Here we go for 2023! »

“We are really pleased to be able to confirm that Hunter will join the team for the 2023 Formula 3 season, rejoiced team director Trevor Carlin. We really enjoyed working with Hunter during post-season testing, it was nice for us to have a driver with some F3 experience to give us guidance, so I'm looking forward to continuing that relationship. We think Hunter has a lot more potential than he's shown, especially because he missed a handful of races due to injury last year. I know we will be able to get to work from the pre-season testing in Bahrain. »
