EL - Boschung in the lead after a chaotic session

Punctuated by three red flags, the only free practice session of the weekend in F2 was dominated by Ralph Boschung (Campos Racing), where most of the drivers completed five short laps.

EL – Boschung in the lead after a chaotic session

This session will not remain in the minds and history books of the F2 in Imola. Or maybe so after all, but not for the reasons you might imagine. With only five short laps to get through for the most diligent drivers, the afternoon has not been the most productive so far. Despite the appearance of three red flags, Ralph Boschung stood out with the best time.

Marcus Armstrong (Hitech) and Logan sargeant (Carlin) caused two red flags during this session, cutting the driving session by approximately half of its effective time. The first city lost its car in the same place where George Russell made a mistake under safety car in 2020, catching his front wing in the safety barriers.

Even if the times are not very revealing, Clément Novalak (MP Motorsport) concluded the session in fourth position, Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) is thirteenth.
