As expected, performances really improved this morning in Formula Renault 3.5 Series, on the Algarve circuit. Fairuz Fauzy (Mofaz Fortec Motorsport) set the best time in free practice, in 1'32"166, ahead of Jon Lancaster (Comtec Racing) and Oliver Turvey (Carlin Motorsport). With fifteen cars in the same second, qualifying promises to be very open.
