A little over two weeks after the first phase of official pre-season testing held on the Spielberg circuit in Austria, the Formula 3 FIA is preparing to return to the track on Wednesday and Thursday in Barcelona for the last phase of testing before the start of the season, scheduled for May 7 to 9 on the same Montmelo track.
Best time in Spielberg, the Brazilian Caio Collet (MP Motorsport) will obviously be there, notably in the company of his teammate Victor Martins. The Frenchman will meet his three compatriots on the track: Clément Novalak (Trident), Pierre-Louis Chovet (Jenzer) and Reshad de Gerus (Charouz Racing System).
All the drivers who have already been announced for the 2021 season are present. As a reminder, only the Charouz Racing System team has not announced its trio of drivers. The Czech structure has in fact made Reshad de Gerus official, but has not revealed the identity of his teammates. But Logan sargeant, third in the last championship, and Michael Belov, who had already tested at Spielberg for Charouz, will be back in the car at Barcelona. As a reminder, the tests will take place over two days Wednesday (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 14 p.m. to 17 p.m.) and Thursday (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 13 p.m. to 16 p.m.).
