Sanctioned by 5″ on his race time for a collision with David Beckmann (ART Grand Prix) in race 2 in FIA F3 at Paul Ricard yesterday morning, Liam Lawson (MP Motorsport) finally saw his penalty canceled by the race stewards.

New information was transmitted to the decision-making body, Lawson not being behind at the time of contact, but rather next to Beckmann, who by shifting slightly to the right, himself damaged his tire on the wing before there car by Lawson.

The latter therefore finished 5th in the sprint race.
