FR 3.5: Panciatici shines in EL1

The first free practice session of the opening round of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Motorland Aragon saw Nelson Panciatici shine. The Frenchman, who defends the interests of Bruno Besson?s KMP Racing team, set the best time in this morning session. Thanks to a time of 1:44:126, the French driver is ahead of the American Alexander Red (Fortec Motorsport) and the Russian Daniil Move (P1 Motorsport). The French team Tech 1 Racing places its two rookies in 9th and 10th rows, the Estonian Kevin Korjus ahead of the Frenchman Arthur Pic. Nathanaël Berthon, resident of the ISR team, set the 12th fastest time.
Note that Jean-Eric Vergne will only arrive in Alcaniz tomorrow for qualifying. Today, the Red Bull Junior Team resident is kept in Milton Keynes to work on the simulator to help the Red Bull Racing who is competing in the Chinese Grand Prix this weekend.
