Daniel Ricciardo (Tech 1 Racing), second fastest in the morning, set the best time in the second Formula collective testing session Renault 3.5 Series, at Hockenheim. The Australian rode in 1:27:758, ahead of Albert Costa (Epsilon Euskadi, 1:27:957) and Mikhail Aleshin (Carlin, 1:28:019), two of his most serious rivals in the championship.
Nathanaël Berthon (Draco International, 1:28??265) sets the fourth time, while Jean-Eric Vergne (Tech 1 Racing, 1:28??677) ranks eleventh. Nelson Panciatici (Lotus Junior Racing, 1:29:002) is seventeenth.
