Gabriele Mini takes pole position at Imola

The Italian Gabriele Mini shines this weekend in front of his audience. Already author of the best time during the second Free Practice session at Imola, the ART Grand Prix driver set the best time on a wet track in Qualifying with 1'39″526. He is 6 hundredths of a second ahead of Dino Beganovic (Prema) and Paul Aron (Prema) at 0″15 behind the Italian.

Boya Mari (ART Grand Prix), the first driver in the second group, failed to beat Gabriele Mini's reference time. The Spaniard finished 2 tenths behind the Italian. Gabriele Mine will start from pole position for Race 1 at 18:05 p.m. ahead of Boya Mari, Dino Beganovic, Sebastian Montoya (Prema) and Paul Aron.

For French pilots, the results are more complicated. It's Hadrien David (R-ace GP), the first Frenchman to be found on the grid in 11th place. Maceo Capietto (Monolite Racing), who dominated the first Free Practice session, finished 9th in the second Qualifying group and will start in 18th position.
