Marvin Kircchöfer (ART Grand Prix) set the best time in free practice for the GP3 Series in Abu Dhabi by completing a lap of the Yas Marina track in 1'56"070 with a tenth ahead of Championship leader Luca Ghiotto ( Trident). Esteban Ocon (ART Grand Prix) follows in third place ahead of Matthew Parry (Koiranen GP) and Kevin Ceccon (Arden International).
