Winner of the first FR 3.5 Series race at the British World Series meeting by Renault, Esteban Guerrieri (ISR) was downgraded due to his car not complying with the regulations, following a complaint from another competitor. Victory therefore went to Jean-Eric Vergne (Tech 1 Racing), the podium being completed by Albert Costa (Epsilon Euskadi) and Stefano Coletti (Comtec Racing).

In the general classification, Esteban Guerrieri therefore falls to 85 points, now being able to give up on the title. He is now 31 points behind Mikhail Aleshin (Carlin), more than the total of two victories, with only three races remaining. Daniel Ricciardo (Tech 1 Racing), with 101 points, is also significantly behind the Russian, who consolidated his position this Saturday.
