The pilot started on karting from the age of six. Today, 11 years later, he has 35 podiums and 18 victories in the different championships he has competed in, first with the FFSA Academy then with Campos Racing. Barter will be pipped to the post successively by the Franco-Canadian Esteban Masson (4 French F2021 champion), Alessandro Giusti (4 French F2022 champion) and the Bulgarian Nikola Tsolov (4 F2022 Spain champion).
Barter also took part in the team's post-season tests at the Jerez circuit alongside Pepe Marti, Francesco Pizzi and his future teammate Christian Mansell.
The latter will make his first full season in F3. He took part in two events last year, ending his season in 38th place in the standings with the Charouz Racing System team. The name of the driver who will complete the Campos Racing trio has not yet been announced.
