Like Friday following qualifying, the race direction had a lot of work after the Sprint Race this Saturday on the Corniche side of Jeddah. Third under the checkerboard, Jake Hughes (VAR) was disqualified due to a violation of the technical regulations. “ Unfortunately, we were disqualified from the Sprint race. A technical infraction which still slowed us down, but the rules are the rules and we admit having made a mistake,” he wrote on Twitter.
Unfortunately we've been disqualified from the spint race. A technical infringement that was slowing us down if anything but rules are rules and we accept we made an error.
Still very proud of what we're showing at the moment and we'll be back up there ASAP 👊🏻 #SaudiArabianGP pic.twitter.com/EpGTFi1AfH

Concerning Ralph Boschung, the race direction imposed a 20-second penalty on him for incorrect positioning in his location on the grid. Initially 8th and winning the last point awarded in the Sprint Race, the Swiss fell to 16th place.
Guaranteed to start last in the Main Race after his qualifying downgrade on Friday, Jack Doohan (Virtuosi) received a 3rd place penalty. The Australian was found guilty of the collision with Logan sargeant (Pug).
