Kaylen Frederick with ART Grand Prix in F3

Kaylen Frederick will compete in the 2023 season of Formula 3 with ART Grand Prix. The 20-year-old American pilot cut his teeth in the USA before recently joining the European scene. He won the British F3 championship in 2020 with Carlin, the team with which he discovered FIA Formula 3 in 2021 (22nd). After a second season with Hitech, it is with ART Grand Prix that he will compete in his third year in this championship (17th).

« I am very happy to join ART GP for the 2023 FIA F3 season, the pilot said. It’s extremely exciting to be part of such a prestigious team and to see what the future holds for our collaboration. Many thanks to my team and sponsors for making this possible, and to everyone at ART for welcoming us to their team. Our performance and our relationship have been promising from our first outings on the track and I look forward to continuing this momentum this winter and throughout the coming season. »

« Kaylen confirmed the talent we thought he had during the Jerez test, and we are confident in his ability to realize his full potential with ART Grand Prix, assures Sébastien Philippe, the director of the French team. British F3 champion, Kaylen already has experience of managing a championship where you race at the front and his driving qualities are undeniable. He will therefore be a double asset in a long and complex season, during which the team will aim to confirm its good results in 2022. »

Kaylen Frederick thus joins Nikola Tsolov, announced the day before.
