One week before pre-season testing for the FIA ​​championship F3 2023, the stable Rodin Carlin finalizes his crew with Ido Cohen. Third year in the championship for the Israeli driver, and a return to his roots. After a 2021 season at Carlin Buzz Racing, he returns to the now named Rodin Carlin after a 2022 stint in the Swiss garage of Jenzer Motorsport. Cohen also raced under the colors of Carlin Motorsport in Euroformula three years ago.

His last campaign in the championship ended in 26th place, with two points scored during the season.

« I am very happy to be back at Rodin Carlin. When I arrived for the adjustment of my seat, it was like coming back to my family, says the 21-year-old pilot. The team has made a lot of positive changes since our last races together, and I look forward to seeing us together on the track again next week in Bahrain. »

A start to the season that Stéphanie Carlin, team principal of the team, is also waiting to begin with her driver: “ We are delighted to welcome Ido back to the team. We had a great understanding at work and a good understanding of Ido's needs so that he felt comfortable in the car. Coupled with Ido’s experience in the championship, we look forward to making a positive start to the season from pre-season testing. »

Cohen will be accompanied by Oliver Gray and Hunter Yeany in the British team from the Bahrain tests from February 14 to 16.
